MGT5PIP – Preparing a project management plan
Read through the assignment instruction before you start.
My team is required to prepare a project management plan and identify the activities required to design, build, test and launch the product you proposed in Assessment
1. Also, you might need to identify activities to troubleshoot the launched product and provide the necessary training for the client’s staff.
My group members have already completed section 1,2,3,4. and you are required to do a section 5 and 6.
My part:
5. A time-phased budget plan and propose a suitable contract.
You are required to estimate project resources rates and associated costs, and also use MS Project 2016 software to calculate the project budget. You are required to include the budget table and cash flow graph in the project plan.
Discuss your budget-related assumptions. You are required to propose an appropriate type of contract for the project and come up with a payment plan. You should justify the choice of contract.
6. Analysis of project stakeholders and develop a communication plan.
Identify stakeholders, analyse and map them using an appropriate tool, and design an engagement plan. A communication plan should also be developed and discussed. Discuss your stakeholder management approach.
