A cognitive purchase decision is the outcome of a series of stages that results in the selection of one product over competing options. Studies have shown that 57% of a complex purchase decision is made before the consumer even speaks to a sales or customer service person. As a marketer, what are the implications to this, and what could be your corresponding strategy as a result?
