Drawing on appropriate literature, you will describe and critically assess the design and methods for a study exploring the experience of trauma care in emergency departments. You will:
present and briefly justify your research question in the context of evidence to date, identifying gaps which your study will address; and explain and critically appraise the research design and methods you would use for addressing your research question.
This should include how you would develop any data collection tools e.g. interview schedules or focus group topic guides; how you would sample and recruit participants, as well as your methods of analysing the data;
Identify the main ethical issues that could arise in a study like this. Explain how you would deal with any potential ethical issues.
Qualitative research analysis (35%)

Conduct an analysis of the transcripts (see word document) and present these as findings in an appropriate structured format (i.e. format suitable for the analysis and findings section of a published study), including explanations of your main themes and presenting data to illustrate your findings;
Draw on methodological and other relevant literature throughout your work.

Assess the British HIV Association (BHIVA) guidelines to treat HIV (20%) and evaluate the mechanism of action of the two classes or reverse transcriptase drug inhibitors to treat HIV infections and provide named examples of each drug class (80%).
Compare and contrast the infections caused by influenza A and SARS-CoV-2 viruses. Include in your answer examples of how both viruses subvert and evade the immune response. (100%)

Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the causative agent of human tuberculosis (TB) is a non-motile, non-spore forming bacterium with some unusual features. Evaluate the contribution of each of the following features of mycobacteria to TB diagnostics, disease progression and treatment:

1) Read: Selections from the Report of Independent Investigation: Death of Braeden Bradforth, prepared by Lewis Brisbois, LLP & Walters, Inc. (attached)
2) Read: The Inter-Association Task Force for Preventing Sudden Death in Collegiate Conditioning Sessions: Best Practices Recommendations (attached)
3) Based on the two readings above, write a 4-5 page paper describing what aspects of the football practice session that resulted in the death of Braeden Bradforth (as described in the Walters report) appear to meet the criteria or not meet the criteria described in the Best Practices document (Preventing Sudden Death in Collegiate Conditioning Sessions). Be specific.
4) Once you complete your evaluation of the practice session in comparison to best practices, write a 1-page reflection about your thoughts about the situation and what you have learned by examining it. Submit the reflection as the final page in your assignment, with a heading titled: Reflection.
