Money is to the economy as oil is to an engine. Explain.
Just a simple explanation

Example

Money is to the economy as oil is to an engine. Explain.

The saying “money is to the economy as oil is to an engine” is basically saying that without money the economy is useless, just as saying that an engine will not work quite literally if it has no oil. Oil is needed for an engine to keep it running consistently and smoothly. The same goes for the reference of money and the economy. If there is no money, there is no economy and that’s a seriously terrible thing. Because money is needed for a healthy economy, this reference only makes sense. Money keeps the economy stable, as oil does for an engine.

What does the ending of The Hate U Give say about these two opposing philosophies?

Does the paper flow logically, that is, do you make your argument in a logical, well-reasoned manner?
Are there transitions between points?

Do you explain how the incidents and quotations demonstrate your point? It is not enough to show an incident or to quote someone. You must show/explain how that incident or that quote demonstrates the point you are trying to make.
Is there a logical summary of the points you make and a conclusion?

Do you use good vocabulary, and is the punctuation, spelling, and usage correct?

Does it seem to have solid evidence? (Remember, the evidence has to be specific facts or quotes, not an indication of where they will find it.)Do the first and last sentences of each body paragraph make sense, and are you persuaded?

2. RESPONd

1) Does it have a clear working ?

2) Does it seem to have solid evidence? (Remember, the evidence has to be specific facts or quotes, not an indication of where they will find it.)

3) Do the first and last sentences of each body paragraph make sense, and are you persuaded?

4) Can you tell what the plan of action is? Briefly, what is it? Remember, the plan of action has to be a form of protest, boycott, ad campaign, etc. The plan of action is not the problem you hope to change, but the method of collective action you will use to make the change happen (SNCC’s non-violent protest-driven actions would be an example).

Answer each question specifically. Do not just say yes or no. Instead, write a short paragraph of a few sentences for each question saying how you know or what is missing. You do not have to offer solutions—just note anything you think the writer should consider as they finish their essay.
