Some tips about what we’re looking for:
Be very detailed (depth over breadth)
Quantify your claims when appropriate (we love to see numbers!)
Cite your peer-reviewed sources (synthesize/paraphrase instead of quote,)
Explain WHY and HOW the biopsychosocial factors impact the disorder (or why researchers don’t know)

Referring to the ACA Code of Ethics and the ASCA Ethical Codes for School Counselors, identify what you believe is an ethical dilemma faced by both the site supervisor Mrs. Lindt, and the university supervisor and professor, Dr. Cottone.

Here are the key elements that you should address:
What is the primary research question?(my research question is;What changes can we make to government policies or laws that arrest people for minor crimes (such as alcohol consumption and loitering) to help young people have better outcomes?
Briefly summarize past literature – what gaps does this study address?
Identify the specific research design used
Briefly summarize the study results and conclusions
Write out a transcript of a 15mins counseling session exactly, stating the counseling micro-skills used everytime and why, also, state what counseling micro-skill could have been used and why.
Then, there’s a two page reaction paper to the transcript where further and more detailed reaction is given of yourself (the counselor) as to- what was learned, strengths, weakness, what needs to will be improved on with further practice.
Number your answers. Four to six sentences per answer .Think of a time when you were faced with a severe stressor.
1. What were your appraisal and coping responses, according to Folkman and Lazarus’s model? Define primary vs. secondary appraisal, and describe how your understanding of and response to the stressor changed over the course of appraisal.
2. How did you engage in emotion regulation? That is, what did you do to maintain an optimal level of emotion, so that it did not overwhelm you?
3. Thinking developmentally here. What would your response have been if you had operated at – pick one – either a lower or a higher level of emotional development?
What did the journalist get right?
What did the journalist get wrong, and why?
What might the journalist have said differently?
If the journalist made any causal claims, were they accurate? (Apply the 3 causal criteria).
Did the journalist focus on the same key finding as the scientists did?
Did the journalist accurately describe the procedures of the study? Did the journalist leave details
out?
In what way was the piece biased?

Your essay should include five paragraphs, as follows:
Paragraph 1 is your lead paragraph. It will contain an overview of what you have to say in comparing and contrasting the perspectives of Gerhard Lenski, Leslie White, and Alvin Toffler with respect to the evolution of technology.
Paragraphs 2, 3, and 4, are your body paragraphs.
In your essay, use paragraph 2 to describe the perspective of Gerhard Lenski.
In paragraph 3, you’ll write about the perspective of Leslie White.
Describe and discuss the perspective of Alvin Toffler.
Paragraph 5 is your summary and conclusion. Here, you’ll compare the three perspectives to show how they are, or may be, similar.
Contrast the three perspectives and describe how they’re different.
End this process–and your essay–by expressing your view as to which of these theorists (one or more) offer the most useful insights into the evolution of technology, in your opinion.
It’s permissible to use direct quotes from your reading, but don’t use too many. One to three such quotes should be your limit.
Be sure to put a direct quote in quotation marks. For example: According to Smith, “Carbon dioxide is both our friend and our enemy.”
Begin by writing a first draft. Then, edit and rework your material to make it clear and concise. After you have reached a final draft, proofread the essay one last time to locate and correct grammar and spelling errors.
