Method Section Instructions
Continue with your use of proper formatting – your submission should have a running head, page numbers, Level 1 and Level 2 headings, and in-text citations. How to format a Method section is covered in this module’s Learn section. It should explain the experimental methods with enough detail that a reader can easily replicate the experiment. Don’t forget to use the APA Manual as a guide. Level 2 headings for your Method section must include (in this order and in APA
format): – Participants – include the number of participants, a description of the participants, and sampling procedures
Materials – include a description of the survey questions used, including citations where appropriate (e.g., if you use religiosity you should cite Koenig & Bussing 2010 and if you used spirituality you should cite Hodge, 2003)

There is often the requirement to evaluate descriptive statistics for data within the organization or for health care information. Every year the National Cancer Institute collects and publishes data based on patient demographics.
Understanding differences between the groups based upon the collected data often informs health care professionals towards research, treatment options, or patient education.

Individual Data Collection and Analysis (Kinesiology)
Description
Your individual task is to submit a 3 page, double-spaced typed summary of a sample of data collection and analysis.
You can work together as a group to collect your data, but each individual is responsible for their own summary of the data collection process and analysis.
For example, each person can record their total number of steps they take per day, once on a work day and once when they are not working, and then share with the group to increase the overall sample.
Then, each person will do their own description of the data collection process and submit their own analysis summary.
Start with a general research question and then describe how you collected the data and then summarize the results from your analysis.
This task has two sections: 1) research question and data collection, and 2) data analysis.
