Pharmacology- required further discussion regarding patients ordered medication, doses, and the link to their underlying condition for medications such as ace inhibitors.
Include adverse effects of anaesthesia to look out for.
ECG’s are required for anyone over 65 years old.
Sevoflurane action, contraindications, complications, and excretion.discuss?
Discuss deficit post previous CVA.
Hydration status of the patient pre and post operatively could be included in her assessment. Include blood loss intraoperatively.
GP’s can act as liaisons between patients and additional services in the community including medical specialists should it be required.
Discussion regarding community groups would be advantageous.
