Short term and long term goals as a dental hygienist
The topic of the admission paper is “explain your reason for pursuing bachelors of science dental hygiene degree and state your long and short term career goals”
Mention how chose to pursue this degree because worked in an office setting and answering phone calls helping customers,was able to hear the instant relief in their voices but didn’t get to see the true results of their contentment after helping them.
Short term goals:
1. To learn more about oral care and preventative care and pass this information to others in my community, my family and friends.
2. To teach something new to students with the same passion, who will be working alongside me and to also learn something from them too.
3. Gain professional experience from this program
Long term goals:
1. To keep finding new ways to improve the quality of the dental care that am giving to my patients
2. Learning new procedures and equipment because the dental industry is ever-changing.
3. Continuing my education as a dental hygienist, learning about all the advancements in this industry.
