Describe divergent/conflicting personal moral (e.g., from patient, family) and/or professional ethical positions in the IP team. If applicable, discuss the role and moral position in the team of patient, family, and friends.
Describe the decision-making model used (note steps). Remember to cite the model.
Describe completely at least two (2) recommendations discussed in the team, including their pros and cons, and anticipated outcomes.
Describe how you & your team came to a decision between options considered in #2. Consider team communication methods, value of using a decision- making model, how agreement was achieved (ex. consensus, etc.)
Describe the agreed upon course of action and why it was the best option (support the reasons you give why it was the best option).
Describe how the Core Competencies of Interprofessional Collaborative Practice came into play during the Ethical Decision Process.
Reflect on and discuss agreements and/or disagreements between your personal moral position and the ethics of the profession you were representing (intrapersonal conflict).
Reflect on and discuss agreements and/or disagreements between you (personal morals and professional ethical position) and those of other team members (interpersonal conflict).

How was your communication? What was difficult/easy? What did you learn about your communication style? What was effective/ineffective? Strengths and Weaknesses in your communication? What could you do differently next time?
Assess your skills/performance working in the team. What was difficult/easy? What did you do right/could change? What did you learn about yourself working in teams? Did you exercise any leadership or did you follow the lead of others? In which ways?
How well do you feel you understood your role in the team and what you were supposed to do? How well do you feel you understood the role of the other team members and what they were supposed to do? How your understanding (or lack) of your and others roles affected your performance in the team.
Assess how well you feel you understood your own moral position in relation to the ethical dilemma. Assess how well you feel you understood the ethical position of the profession you were representing. Which one do you think you understood better? How did your understanding of each affect your performance in the team?
Summarize what this learning experience was like for you personally and how you see it relating to your future professional role. For example, how might this experience impact you if you experience a similar situation in your personal life and/or and in your future professional role?
