In this discussion, you get to practice being a Sociologists by using Theoretical perspectives to explain what is happening in society with what is supposed to happen in society.
More importantly, you get to do so through a case that is currently happening and unresolved, which means you are doing the very work that sociologists are doing as we speak!
Write a three paragraph discussion based on the following
Identify two specific changes in social norms which occurred because of COVID-19 that will likely continue after the in the “reopening of the US.”
Use at least one theoretical perspective to explain how those changes impact particular social institutions.
In your answer, consider polices and processes at the national (and international) level and how that has impacted specific changes in norms and behaviors that have changed for you.
While you may consider values and beliefs, the focus of this discussion is on behavior.
Be sure to include concepts and theory/theoretical perspectives from the modules and also focus on the chapters that address social institutions.
