Read the Case Studies provided in chapter 3 of the Bradberry and Greaves textbook. For this week, you will focus on examples of individuals and their scores on self-management. Choose both a positive and negative example of a case study you can personally relate to.
Summarize the 2 case studies you have chosen and what people who work with them say.
Explain why you believe you relate to the case study in either a positive or negative mannerism.
In terms of personal competence verses social competence (pg. 24-50), describe the area that you feel you struggle with the most. What are some ways you can actively improve these areas?
Your response should be 1-1.5 pages in length.
Keep in mind your reflection paper will need to conform to APA 7th Edition formatting standards. (Cover page, body of paper, reference page). With that said, feel free to use personal pronouns when completing this assignment. Contact me with any questions.

Public Administration- Emotional Intelligence
The subject of the paper will be research articles on emotional intelligence theory and/or practice. The student will locate research articles online.
The student will choose four (4) research articles to discuss: the topic being investigated, the research results, and the potential for the use of findings in the workplace.
The four articles’ selection could all be on one aspect of emotional intelligence theory and/or practice. Or you could examine two (2) articles that say one thing about emotional intelligence, and the other two (2) articles could be opposing the first two (2) articles.
If you answer all the questions stated below in your narrative, you will be including the most critical points in the article,
1. What is the purpose of the article?
2. What is the problem the author cites as challenging?
3. What predictions or hypotheses does the author state?
4. What is the research design? A cross-sectional survey, etc.
5. Describe the instrument used?
6. What are the population and sample size?
7. How many responded participants responded?
8. What are the sample demographics?
9. Were the hypotheses supported in the article?
10. What are the discussion points made in the discussion?
11. What are the findings?
12. What are the limitations?

All papers submitted will be typewritten, double-spaced, 8-12 pages (excluding title page and bibliography).
The font should be 12 points and the type style Times Roman, Courier, or equivalent. Full and proper citation is expected. Citations in your paper’s text must reference a complete list of works cited at the end of the paper.
The paper should be done using the APA style manual. Wikipedia, blogs, etc., are not considered as academic sources. Also note that excessive citation, although referenced, is still considered plagiarism.
