Is it trying to provide meals to the homeless to counter economic disparity? Is it trying to bring equal opportunities in education to impoverished or underprivileged youth?

In this class, we have talked about the various forms of discrimination: racism, classism, sexism, and heterosexism. Each writer we have read has engaged in some form of participatory citizenship and activism: whether it was in penning their article or participating in a movement for social change. Consider then, with which issue are you most engaged and concerned- and what does it challenge in society?

which – activist group, church organization, charity group, or other such cause would like to be active in.

Which – discriminatory concept does it challenge? For example, is it trying to give women equal opportunities and pay in the workforce? Is it trying to provide meals to the homeless to counter economic disparity? Is it trying to bring equal opportunities in education to impoverished or underprivileged youth?
