Identify and describe two solutions from all the solutions possible. Remember, some of these solutions should stem from the theoretical orientation you are utilizing. Explain how well the problem-solving model can be used for short-term treatment of this client.

Application of the Problem-Solving Model and Theoretical Orientation to a Case Study

Your presentation should address the following:

Identify the theoretical orientation you have selected to use.

Describe how you would assess the problem orientation of the client in your selected case study (i.e., how the client perceives the problem). Remember to keep the theoretical orientation in mind in this assessment stage.

Discuss the problem definition and formulation based on the theoretical orientation you have selected.

Identify and describe two solutions from all the solutions possible. Remember, some of these solutions should stem from the theoretical orientation you are utilizing.

Describe how you would implement the solution. Remember to keep the theoretical orientation in mind.

Describe the extent to which the client is able to mobilize the solutions for change.

Discuss how you would evaluate whether the outcome is achieved or not. Remember to keep the theoretical orientation in mind.

Explain how well the problem-solving model can be used for short-term treatment of this client.

Describe one merit and one limitation of using the problem-solving model for this case.

Explain in 2 to 3 sentence the extent to which you were surprised or not surprised by the TEST results, and explain the reasons why you were surprised or not surprised.

Social Work: Reflecting on Your Theoretical Orientation

Review the results of the attached Theoretical Evaluation Self-Test. Then provide a response to the following bullet points:

Explain in 2 to 3 sentence the extent to which you were surprised or not surprised by the TEST results, and explain the reasons why you were surprised or not surprised.

Identify the top three theories or models that most appealed to you.

o Systems Theory, Psychosocial Theory, and Cognitive

Behavior Theory

Explain in 3 to 4 sentences how your personal values, worldviews, life experiences, and/or your personality influenced your selection of the top three theories or models.

Reflecting back on the one case study (case of Jack Levy) you used during the entire course, describe your experience—for example, the degree to which it was helpful to focus on one instance, what you learned, what could perhaps be done differently.

Be sure to include a heading for each section based on the bulleted assignment guidelines. Reference the attached resources and other relevant resources.

How does the inclusion of the chosen theoretical orientation contribute to an understanding of the problem being investigated?

This assignment is the first stage of a full research paper.

The study will be about the effects of various aspects of family life on the overall satisfaction of Students in a graduate program.

The problem statement will be something to the effect of “lack of sufficient student satisfaction in graduate programs amongst students with families” ( In other words, because of various family dynamics and responsibilities it is harder on the student and thus the student is less satisfied than those without family responsibilities.)

There are three main sections to the paper.

Section 1: The problem statement, which includes:
What you are studying and why it is important?
A clear statement of the problem to which your study relates?
Characteristics of the problem? (Who is affected, how)
Scope and intensity of the problem? (How many affected? with what impact?)
Its place as a social work concern – historically and now?
Background of the problem within American society?
Discussion of relevant federal and state policies and/or judicial decisions to address the problem, both historic and current?

Section 2: Theoretical Framework, which includes,
Briefly discuss the theoretical/conceptual framework for your study.
What theoretical orientation guides the study?
What rationale justifies the use of this theoretical orientation?
How does the inclusion of the chosen theoretical orientation contribute to an understanding of the problem being investigated?

Section 3: Research Design, which includes,
Briefly identify and justify the type of research design you/we are considering.

Have attached a table which shows some of the variables which will be used in this study down the line to give more of an orientation for where this study is headed. have also attached a finished example of what the basic structure and layout of the assignment should look like.  Delete all sent files after use.

If this is done right will gladly send the upcoming aspects of this study to the same writer in the coming weeks
